AHHH! My toilet is leaking all over my bathroom floor… It seems to be coming from behind the seat and under the top portion… Sort of leaking from a bolt but maybe from above it. My floor is soaked and I have to go out of town tomorrow! I can call my landlord, but I don’t want it to leak all night and until someone gets here. Any suggestions? Any plumbers out there?
Ed M— There are two valves next to toilet, one very close to floor, one higher up. Which way do I turn it and how will I know the water is off? Thanks for your help

Apparently we had an old boiler so he had to buy one.

My sink drained out last night and it went into my dishwasher and now the excess water is coming out of the bottom of my dishwasher, why is it doing that? I thought the dishwasher had a seal on it so that it would not leak out.
