I am doing this for my husband, we purchased a spot in our sons yearbook, its a new business, and we have no budget setup for these things yet….
How to…

I know it has a lot of info, but it is supposed to be a detailed ad, as it has a full page spread in the yearbook…

I have actually revised it a bit though…

Leaking tub surround?

bonnienbooger asked:

I have a tub/shower combo. marble tub surround, with a window in the shower. We have sealed every seam there is to seal. When water is on, tub surround leaks from the back of the tub down, inside, the wall and onto the floor under the tub. We have a panel in the wall to get to the bottom of the tub, and that is where we can see the leak. It actually leaks so much it is coming out from under the siding down the foundation and out onto the ground. Who would I call for repairs? Plumber or carpenter? Plumbing is not leaking, there aren’t any pipes where the leak is coming from. The leak is on the opposite end of the tub that the plumbing is.

I’m very anxious. Just bought a house, painted walls, carpeted, etc. Now the gas company tells me there is no gas leak at any of the appliances and none in the “yard line”, but there is one in the house (along the pipes somewhere). Does this mean they have to rip through the drywall of the entire house, test every inch of pipe and I’m left with tens of thousands in repair of drywall/paint? Also if I have one gas leak does that mean, there going to be a lot more in the future? Should I convert everything to electric?

Please help me understand this. I’m anxious as the plumber isn’t coming till the weekend is over and I don’t know what to say is he/she tells me they have to start tearing the whole place down.
Sorry forgot to mention the house is on a concrete slab. The gas company has already evaluated the situation 3 times and found no leaks at the appliances and so its somewhere along the piping and they won’t take care of it, I have to get a plumber. Besides the garage I don’t see any visible piping. I assume this means it runs in the drywall? Or does it go into the slab and back out at every appliance area?

The gas company people did use both the water/soap method and the “device” (chirping-like sound). Will this device really be able to pinpoint leaks through drywall, etc.?

Thanks for your help.

i understand that you can’t make a person get help…i understand that they have to want help in order to get better…i am just very worried and would greatly appreciate any and all advice regarding this situation…i talked to her for an hour last night and the things that came out of her mouth were utterly insane…it seems she has gotten worse over the years…my dad can’t seem to make her want help either, but fortunately they are still married and live together…i am a 27 y/o female and i live an hour away from her…her symptoms are as follows: will not allow strangers into her house (if she HAS to, for example, cableman/telephone repair/plumber/electrian etc.), she insists that they have “CASED” the joint and will rob the house, hides when doorbell rings, keeps the shades drawn all of the time, runs and hides in her bedroom if one of my dad’s friends come over, strongly believes that i will get murdered someday because i am gay, basically believes EVERYONE is out to “get” her!
wow…such great advice and kind words from all of you!!!…i appreciate all of your answers and thank you very much for taking the time to respond…
